Highland Rim SHRM is hosting a virtual – online presentation on Thursday, June 18, 2020 on “Unconscious Bias”.
When you understand your own biases you will be able to improve communication, relationships, better manage or even avoid conflict. Teams who know their individual biases can work together better, have better decision-making and more overall success. Learning Outcomes:
- Define bias
- Understand the difference between a fact and a perception
- Identify at least one personal bias
- Identify how biases influence our interactions
Our presenter will be Megan Johnson, MA, ACC, Founder, Coach Trainer and Consultant for JMJ Communication Group. Human Resource professionals, business owners, managers and supervisors are welcome to attend. The workshop is approved for SHRM credit.
