The Highland Rim Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a non-profit professional association. Founded in 1964, the chapter has an average membership of 30 members who represent various businesses, educational facilities and government agencies from Tullahoma, Manchester, Lynchburg, Winchester, Shelbyville, Sewanee and Arnold Air Force Base. Highland Rim SHRM has received the Superior Merit Award, which recognizes excellence in operations and services to members.

The goals of Highland Rim SHRM are to conduct programs that focus on current human resource management issues, to provide development and networking opportunities for human resource professionals and to continue to provide a level of service and management of our chapter that qualifies us for the SHRM Merit Award.
